Meet Our Founder

Christopher Haynes is the Director and Founder of Ewnder Legal, bringing extensive experience across all areas of UK Immigration Law. He has developed particular expertise in complex family and human rights matters under Appendix FM, as well as British nationality and citizenship matters.

Christopher holds a BA/Sc in Philosophy and Politics from Cardiff University. Following this, Christopher began his legal career at the University of Bristol, where he completed his Diploma in Law before going on to obtain a Masters degree in Law, specialising in Refugee and Migrant Law. His academic background provided him with a strong foundation in the complex legal and policy issues surrounding immigration, asylum and nationality.

Following his studies, Christopher gained valuable practical experience through placements at Seren Legal Practice and Albany Solicitors, before joining the Immigration Advice Service. There, he spent many years advising and representing clients across a broad range of UK immigration matters, developing a reputation for navigating complex cases with diligence, strategic insight and a client-focused approach.

Drawing on this wealth of experience, Christopher founded Ewnder Legal in 2025, with a vision of providing expert, accessible and carefully considered immigration advice to individuals and families navigating the UK immigration system.

Our Story & Mission

Ewnder is derived from the Cornish word for justice and virtue, reflecting the values at the heart of our mission. Based in Cornwall, the home of our founding director, our goal is to uphold justice for all individuals with a right to be in the United Kingdom.

We believe that access to quality legal advice should not be limited by cost. Immigration law can be complex and, at times, overwhelming, which is why we are committed to making professional immigration advice and assistance as accessible and affordable as possible.

Whether you need expert advice, document checking or full support with an application, we offer a range of services designed to give you the level of assistance you need, without paying for more than you require.

We understand that behind every immigration matter is a person, a family or an important opportunity. Perhaps you are applying for a visa to take up a new job, looking to build a future in the UK, or hoping to reunite with the people you love. Whatever your circumstances, we take the time to understand your situation and provide advice tailored to you.

At Ewnder, we believe in a personal approach. You will have direct access to your caseworker throughout your matter, so there is always someone who understands your case and is available to provide advice, answer your questions or simply talk through any concerns you may have.
